Es ist ein nachwachsender Rohstoff, der in nachhaltigen Mischkulturen angebaut wird. Um den Naturkautschuk zu gewinnen, werden Stämme von Kautschuk- bäumen angeritzt. Die austretende Pflanzenmilch wird aufgefangen und danach weiterverarbeitet. Auf diesem Wege entsteht ein lang- lebiges, biologisch abbaubares Produkt, das die Umwelt schont und durch eine besondere Haptik besticht.
