29 METAL INLAY Logos and wordings are created from thin steel inlays and then pressed into scales under high pressure and heat. This method ensures a durable, resistant and high-quality look. It’s suitable for all models with opaque Cellidor scales in blue, black, white, red and yellow. However, it can`t be used for ABS scales, transparent scales, scales with LED switch or scales including ballpoint pen. ENGRAVING With this classic technique, a tool cuts the letters into the material. On synthetic materials surfaces the engraving is then filled with a contrasting color. Logos and lettering are also possible for diamond engraving on Swiss Tools. Suitable for small runs. LASER ENGRAVING Laser engraving is particularly useful due to its durability. It allows for very precise implementation of individual surface layers and when it comes to wood, exacting contours and a fine relief. IMPRINT ON ALOX SCALES A silicone stamp is used to transfer ink from the etched steel printing block to electro-chemically treated and thus microscop- ically porous aluminum scales.
